Ghost Town Sound's Jimmy Foot Releases Ska Santas cd

Santa Ska's coming to town bringing Ska Santas!

"Santa Claus and his elves needed some quick-paced Ska music to help them meet the production demands of the modern world. So Santa called on one of his helpers up in Humboldt County, California, Jimmy Foot. He asked Jimmy to create the most fun Christmas album ever, and that’s how the Ska Santas were born! Working deep into the night, the Ska Santas crafted their work: Ken Lawrence on bass, Mike Kimmel on drums, Tim Randles on keys & Jimmy Foot on guitar. Joining the Ska Santas were Justin Schwartzman, who played every horn, and Jesse Jonathan, Santa’s favorite percussionist. Then Santa loaned the Ska Santas two of his elves, Doug Wendt and Luc LaRochelle, as “Toasters” to add more flavor!" -Bongo Boy

Out in the studio, there arose such a clatter,
The engineers looked up to see what was the matter,
When what to their wondering ears did they hear,
Than the Ska Santas spreading Ska holiday cheer!
The Santas all dressed up in red and in white,
Played Christmas Ska music well into the night
The elves picked up the pace and made zillions of toys
For all of the earth’s little good girls and boys
As he went to his work, I could hear Santa say
"Merry Christmas, Ska Santas, you helped saved the day!"

“Amazing arrangements & execution. I see winner spelled out in red, green & gold Xmas lights. 'Let It Snow,' 'Jingle Bell Ska' and on and on. Pure magic. Really loved the unusual riff that leads into 'White Christmas' and those widely diverse Jimmy Foot guitar licks all over, brilliantly placed like twinklin' tinsel on a cherry. Five Stars for Wise Guys to follow this time I tell ya. I'm very proud to be involved. All killer, no filler. Give thanks!” -Duppy Doug
